In the last years I hadn’t had much time for playing games but I also feel that the standards have dropped. Either that or I’ve grown tired of ordinary games that I would of played for hours as a child.
I can’t even list more than ten games that I’ve played and loved in the past few years:
- World of Warcraft
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2
- Fallout 3
- Left4dead
- Team fortress 2
- … and that’s about it
But last Sunday I found a new gaming love: Peter Moulineaux’ Fable 2. (Thanks Emi!)
I haven’t played the first game and I’m a little sorry now but hey… I’ve got Fable 2 to play and enjoy !
The story begins violently much like the first game. You can interact with the world in almost any way imaginable. You have a dog that has it’s own will and is fun to interact with (you can’t control the dog directly!). You can buy homes, stores, have jobs, buy and sell items and I’m sure that I haven’t discovered all the things that can be done as I’ve been playing for 2 days in the evenings after work.
If you have an XBOX360 I recommend you get this game and prepare for a life altering experience ! (That’s if you like RPG games to begin with)

Google has launched a new keyword tool that can be found at http://google.com/sktool/.
Basically you input a website or webpage and some keywords you find relevant and the tool output relevant data like:
- Volume of monthly searches
- Advertiser competition
- Suggested bid
- If the keywords you entered were found on the website/webpage
Also you can filter by website category, branded or unbranded keywords and where the keyword appears: in keyword / in page / both.
Of course you can do all sorts of usefull stuff to the data like sorting and exporting, things we’ve come used to getting from Google over the years.
One more usefull thing is that you can click on a small "Google Insights" logo near every keyword and you will see the Google Trends data for that particular keyword.

I was browsing Google Search Insights today and trying to find the most searched keyword of 2008 I came upon this comparison: Porn vs Obama.
As you can see in the attached image, Porn greatly outranks Obama :))

I’m considering this funny because I was swamped with presidential election ads and I’m not even living in the USA.
A great deal of money was put into the election ads and it seems that people are still searching more for porn.
Also I noticed that one of the rising terms Worldwide in 2008 is "red tube" a youtube like website, but for porn.
People dig porn !
I have to say that I’m happy that Barack Obama succeeded in becoming the very first african american president.
It means the United States as a nation have surpassed all their past rasism.
